Real personal independence is the maturity and understanding this basic fact and allowing it to happen in life. The notion of independence as all knowing and all capable is only a deception.

Giving fair answers to questions keeps one exposed, often difficult, but is challenging, nothing to hide, less tension, keeps the peace within, and naturally welcomes true friends. In spite of the beautiful advantages, why often one is hesitant to have a honest talk, transparent exchanges. Yes, it asks for some nerve, ...but in the end it is worth. Let fairness, trust, integrity ..... be the essentials.
